Tougher video broadcasting laws proposed

A number of broadcasting companies have proposed new legislation to deal with the increasing trend to share and swap video material, often as a result of the rise in broadband video sharing from the likes of YouTube etc.

As video increasingly becomes a resource that can be shared and distributed over the internet, the digital rights and piracy issues that are already such a headache for the music and software industries.
